I finally feel like I've made some progress. 3 hour session today.

I have a tough time mixing colors and getting the right ratio of pigment/water.

Some practice. Top one is from a photo, bottom are paintings.

2 hours. I got there late and couldn't find any chairs so I just stood up holding my laptop.

3 hour session. I would love to do these every week.

Trying out watercolors now, this is a study of a Charles Reid painting.

I tried doing a landscape from imagination.
